State Bank of India (SBI) is a multinational and India’s largest Commercial Bank. It is a Govt.- owned Bank with its head office in Mumbai, Maharashtra.  SBI had assets of US$501 billion and 15,003 branches, including 157 foreign offices till December,2012. Central Recruitment & Promotion Department of SBI conducts engagement of Officers & Clerical cadre. SBI has invited online application from the Indian nationals for the post of General Manager (Official Language).

Academic Qualification & Experience : Candidates applying for the post must be Doctorate in Hindi with min. 60% marks at Graduation & Post Graduation level from a recognized university and English as one of the subjects at the Graduation level. Knowledge of Hindi application software package will be an added advantage. Candidates having an experience of min. 10 years in a University/Institution or in a large PSU /Bank will be required.

Age Limit : Age of the candidates should be between 40-50 years . Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST candidates will be 5 years and for OBC candidates would be 3 years.

Scale of Pay : The Selected Candidate will get pay scale of Rs.46,800 - 52,000/-  .Total emoluments will be around Rs.1,65,000/- per month.

Selection Criteria : Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of personal interview of shortlisted candidates.
