Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU),earlier called as Nagpur University, was founded in 1923 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. It was named after Tukdoji Maharaj. Its focal point was in teaching different languages of India like Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit & Urdu. Since 1947, the University has been provided a medical degree. It consists of the faculties of Art & Humanities, Home Science, Social Sciences, Science, Commerce, Medicine, Education, Law, Ayurveda & Engg & Technology. It has 37 PG teaching depts.& three constituent colleges.
