Gujarat SET Agency organizes 9th Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) in 19 subs. to decide ability for Lectureship in colleges & universities of Gujarat State.

Essential Criteria: Candidates must be postgraduate or similar exam in Humanities (having language subjects) & Comp. Science, Social Science & Science subjects. Those who have appeared in final yr of postgraduate course of UGC GSET may also appear. Those who have done Ph.D. course & postgraduate exam till 19.09.1991 can also appear in the SET Exam & they will also get 5% relaxation between 50% to 55% in total marks. SCRA Exam 2014

Age Limitation: There is no age bar for this exam.

Fee Structure: Candidates have to pay Rs.825/-(includes bank fee) as an application fee while SC/ST/PH/VH candidates have to pay Rs.725/-in the form of Bank Challan at any of Corporation Bank branch. UGC NET Exam 2014

Application Process: Candidates have to appear online via the website www.gujaratset.ac.in. The photo state of completely filled application form with the copy of bank challan & attested copies all the required documents should be reached to the mentioned address:

Note: Those who are studying in the 1st yr of two years course or in 1st two semesters out of 4 semesters course of postgraduate course will not be allowed for this exam. For more information candidates must go to the website www.gujaratset.ac.in.

The exam will be held on almost 6 centres of Gujarat:

·         Patan

·         Rajkot

·         Bhavnagar

Opening date to submit fee & Online Application: 20th May, 2013.

Closing date to submit fee & Online Application: 3rd July, 2013 till 12 O’ Clock at night.

Closing date to receive the certificates from Gujarat SET office, Vadodara: 6th July, 2013.

Exam Date of Gujarat SET: 22nd Sept., 2013
