Bihar Gramin Bank ,Regional Rural bank sponsored by UCO Bank,was formed in 2012 vide Govt. of India notification by combination of  2 RRBs namely Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Samastipur Kshetriya Gramin Bank. The bank  has issued notification to recruit Officers in Junior Management (Scale-I) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Eligible and interested aspirants who have appeared and qualified the Common Written Examination (CWE) for RRB conducted by IBPS in Sept’2012 may apply online before closing date .

Age Limitation : Age of the applicant should be in between 18-28 years so as to apply for the above mentioned posts. Relaxation in upper age limit will be extended by 5 years for SC/ST candidates & by 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Academic Qualification : Candidates applying for the post must have Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with knowledge of local language . Proficiency in computer application will be an added advantage.

Pre-requisite Qualification : Candidates applying for the post should be declared qualified in RRB-Common Entrance Exam(CWE) conducted by IBPS in Sep-12.Qualifying Standard Score for General/OBC/PWD/EXS is 95 and above whereas for Other Reserved category is 89 and above in case if Office Assistant. In case of Officer Scale-I Qualifying Standard Score for General/OBC/PWD/EXS is 103 and above whereas for Other Reserved category is 97.

Application Fee :SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates are required to pay Rs.20/- & Unreserved/OBC candidates to pay Rs.100/- as application fee in the form of Challan available at the bank’s official website bihargraminbank.in  and deposit at any branch of Bihar Gramin Bank CBS Account No. 38010210000356 or by NEFT from any Bank to CBS A/C NO. 38010210000356 & IFC Code No UCBA0RRBBKG between 16-Jul-2013 to 31-Jul-2013.

Selection Criteria : Selected candidates on the basis marks obtained in RRBs CWE will be called for interview and final selection will be done through merit list based on Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE and personal interview.
