VIT University, Vellore conducts Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE - 2013) to admit in the B.Tech courses

Essential Criteria: 12th passed or exam which is equivalent to it with a min.60% marks in PCM or PCB group.SC/ST & Students belongings from J&K and from the North Eastern States like Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram & Arunachal Pradesh.

Candidates of PCM group can select from any 13 B.Tech. courses while Candidates belonging to PCM group can select only Bioinformatics/Bio-Medical Egg./Biotechnology courses of B.Tech.

Essential Criteria: Candidates attending the VITEEE-2013 should have any of the following criteria either completed or shall be appearing in 2013, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:

   §  Appeared in Final exam of 12th class from the State Board; CBSE, New Delhi; ISCE, New Delhi.

   §  Class 12th or 2 yrs of Pre-University Exam from a reputed Board or University.

   § 10th High School Exam from the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

   §  Gen. Certificate Education (GCE) exam (London/Srilanka/Cambridge) at the Advanced level.

Age Limit: Candidates born on or after 01.07.1991 can appear in VITEEE-2013.

Application Procedure: Candidates should appear in VITEEE 2013 through online after paying Rs.900/- through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking or they can get from the designated branches of Post offices by paying Rs.950/- in cash or they can receive through a DD of Rs.950/-drawn in favour of "VIT University", payable at Vellore.
