The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) ,power-house of Indian Electrical Industry, is an Autonomous Institute under Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. It functions as a centre for applied research in Electrical power engineering helping the electrical industry in product development and quality assurance. Age Relaxation : Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/PH category will be permissible by 5 years and for OBC by 3 years as per Govt. norms only after producing caste/community certificate in the format prescribed by the Central Govt.

Application Fee Details : Candidates belonging to General/OBC category will have to pay application fee of Rs.500/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of CPRI,payable at Bangalore. SC/ST/PH category candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Criteria : Selection process will consist of written Examination followed by interview of candidates shortlisted after written Examination.
