Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar is one of the eight new IITs set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The institute is committed to providing state-of-the-art technical education in a variety of fields and also for facilitating transmission of knowledge in keeping with latest developments in pedagogy.At present, the institute offers Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) programme in the following areas: Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. This programme is spread over a period of eight semesters and the institute admits forty students in each branch, selected through IIT Joint Entrance Examination conducted every year. In addition, the institute now offers doctoral programme in several disciplines.

Title of the Project- “Design and Syntheses of A New Class of Salen Based Metal Complexes: A Search for Catalytic Activity”under the supervision of undersigned, [Project No. 01(2486)/11/EMR-II].

JRF: The applicants must be M.Sc. or having equivalent degree with at 55% marks and must be qualified NET or GATE qualified.
SRF:The applicants must be M.Sc. or having equivalent degree and at least 2 years of post-M.Sc. research experience.
RA: The applicants must having Doctorate degree or equivalent degree.
Pay scale: As per CSIR rules.
