An entrance exam is organized each year by ISRO-Indian Space Research Organisation to provide chances for the bright future of willing & aspiring candidates to join ISRO in the world of globalization. ISRO provides the Scientist/Engineer 'SC' post for the aspiring & willing candidates in the mentioned areas:

·         Scientist/Engineer SC – Electronics

·         Scientist/Engineer SC - Comp. Science

·         Scientist/Engineer SC - Mechanical

Essential Criteria: Candidates must have B.Tech/BE or similar degree in 1st division with min. 65% marks. Those who are completing their B.Tech/BE in the session 2012-2013 can also appear but they will have to submit their final result till 31th of Aug., 2013.

Salary Structure: Candidates have to pay Rs.15, 600-39,100 + GP Rs.5400/- (Gazetted Post of Gp'A')   CDS Exam 2014

Age Limitation: Candidates' maximum age should be 35 yrs till 4th of March, 2013. PWD/ Ex-servicemen/SC/ST will get relaxation according to Govt. norms.

Fee Structure: Candidates have to pay Rs.100 as an application fee. After being registered, the Challan can be downloaded & 3 copies of it should be taken out. Candidates can go to any SBI branch to deposit the Challan with the application fee. Out of 2 Challan copies, one copy will be submitted to -Sr. Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headqtrs, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore-560094via post super scribed "ICRB - RECRUITMENT OF SCIENTIST/ENGINEER 'SC' on the envelope within seven days of completing the application forms. And the last copy will be reserved by the candidates for future use. The amount will be paid by cash only. Application Criteria: Candidates will be registered only online method. Candidates must go to the web-site of ISRO www.isro.gov.in between 12.02.2013 to 04.03.2013 for their registration. Candidates can obtain the application forms via online way only. Candidates must provide their E-mail ID in the application forms & they must keep their Registration No. to use in future.

Important Note: 

·         There may be difference in no. of vacancies which depends on its necessity.

·         This time positions are for short while but in future it may be long lasting.

·         Candidates can be appointed in any Units of the ISRO/Dept. of Space located in any part of the country.

·         Only Indian candidates can appear.
