South Malabar Gramin Bank (SMGB) ,Govt. of India undertaking and sponsored by Canara Bank, has issued notification to recruit Officers in Middle Management Grade (Scale-II ) , Oficers in Junior Management (Scale I) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose).Eligible and interested aspirants who have appeared and qualified the Common Written Examination (CWE) for RRB conducted by IBPS in Sept’2012 may apply online before closing date .

Pre-requisite Qualification : Candidates applying for the post should be declared qualified in RRB-Common Entrance Exam(CWE) conducted by IBPS in Sep-12.Qualifying Standard Score for Office Assistant (Multipurpose), in case of General/OBC/PWD/EXS is 95 and above whereas for Other Reserved category is 89 and above. For Assistant Manager (Scale-I) in case of General/OBC/PWD/EXS is 103 and above whereas for Other Reserved category is 97. .For Manager-GBO (Scale-II) in case of General/OBC/PWD/EXS is 114 and above whereas for Other Reserved category is 108.

Application Fee: SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates are required to pay Rs.20/- & Unreserved/OBC candidates to pay Rs.100/- as application fee in the form of Challan available at the bank’s official website www.smgbank.com  and deposit at any branch of South Malabar Gramin Bank or Canara Bank across all over India between 11-Jul-2013 to 27-Jul-2013.

Selection Criteria: Selected candidates on the basis marks obtained in RRBs CWE will be called for interview and final selection will be done through merit list based on Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE and personal interview.
