GATE Exam is a process to apply in PG courses in Engg such as M.Tech, M.E or PhD at National Level Institutions.

    Ø  B.Tech/ B.E./ B.Arch           

Essential Criteria: Graduation in Engg/Technology/Arch (4 yrs after 12^th/ Post-Dipl /Post B.Sc.)

    Ø  Integrated M.E./M.Tech 

Essential Criteria:  Int. PG course or Dual Degree programs in Engg / Tech (5 yrs course)

    Ø  Int. M.E/M.Tech (Post BSc)   

         

Essential Criteria: Post-BSc Int. PG course in Engg / Tech (4 yrs course)

    Ø  M.A./ MSc. /MCA equivalent 

        

Essential Criteria: PG from any field of Science / Maths / Stats / Comp.  Applications or equivalent

• Geotecnical Engg: Foundation Engg, Soil Mechanics 

• Water Resources Engg: Fluid Mechanics & Hydraulics, Irrigation, Hydrology

• Env. Engg: Air Pollution, Water requirements, Noise Pollution

• Transportation Engg: Traffic Engg, Highway Planning
