JEE-Joint Entrance Exam is the Entrance Exam organized at all India level for the willing candidates who are seeking admissions in the Engg programs. From 2013, under the administration of MHRD, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is organizing in 2 sections, JEE-MAIN & JEE-ADVANCED.  JEE ADVANCED is held to join only IITs whereas JEE MAIN is organized to join IIITs, NITs & some way in CFTIs &  other engaged institutions.

Essential Criteria: Candidates should have cleared 12th exam or any other similar exam. Final year students can also attend.

Note: Candidates are permitted only max. 3 continuous efforts. 2011 & 2012, 12th passed candidates can attend JEE MAIN 2013.               

Age Limitation: Candidates should not be born after 1st Oct. 1988 while SC/ST/PWD candidates get 5 yrs relaxation.

Fee Structure: Gen. Candidates have to pay Rs.800/- as an exam fee while SC / ST / PWD have to pay Rs.400/-. Fee of Gen. Category for Computer based exam is Rs.500 & SC / ST / PWD have to pay Rs.250/-

Exam Criteria:                                            

·        B.E/B.Tech courses:

1. Candidates can choose either offline or online way.

2. Objective type questions from Maths, Physics & chemistry are asked.

3. There is negative marking for incorrect answer.

·         B.Arch/B.Planning                              

1. Candidates have to apply via offline way only.

2. The question paper comprises of Maths, Aptitude Test & Drawing Test

The timings of both the papers are 3 hrs.

Application Process: JEE MAIN application forms can be received from the website www.jeemain-edu.in.

Mode of selection: Selection of the candidates is based on the 40% scores of class 12th & 60% marks of Jee Main. Few seats are reserved for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Candidates can see their result on the website www.jeemain.nic.in. Those who qualify this exam get admission in best Engg colleges of the country.

JEE- Joint Entrance Examination is the common entrance examination organized at all India level. It provides admissions in several engg courses like B.E, B.Tech, B.Planning & B.Arch in the guidance of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). In 2012, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) started this common exam instead of AIEEE & IIT-JEE. JEE-Joint Entrance Examination has divided in 2 sections. One JEE-Main & other is JEE-Advanced. JEE-Main exam enables the students to join IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology), NITs (National Institute of Technology) &  CFTIs (Central Funded Technical Institute)
