Anna University conducts Tamilnadu Engg. Admission (TNEA) for the Admissions intoB.E/B.Tech Programmes in Anna University Campuses & in Affiliated Institutions also.
Desirable :Students having good scoring marks in 12th standard are eligible for TNEA 2013 & they can choose their favourite field from the list of Engg. Branches proposed by University.
Fee Structure : Gen. Candidates will have to pay Rs.500/- & SC/ST will pay Rs.250/-as an admission fee.
Application Procedure: Candidates can choose online mode to apply.
Attractive Features: Multiple Exams are also proposed for Students. They can apply either for (TANCET) MCA only OR (TANCET) MBA only OR both TANCET MCA & MBA and M.E / M.Tech exam.
For the kind attention of students : The TANCET examination is conducted separately for MBA , MCA and M.E / M.Tech , MBA Exam will be held in the Morning Session & MCA in the Evening Session.
Introduction of new way to get Admission : The new criteria has been introduced in the year 2013 for Engg. students i.e. they don't need to wait for their class 12th mark sheets. They are eligible to apply with the printouts of their results. Desired students should download their printouts of their results & send it with the copies of all the required documents & Engg. counseling forms.
