KVS has issued notification for the recruitment of various teaching posts. The detailed process for selection has been given below. Candidates eligible for the position may apply online before the scheduled dates mentioned below.

Age limitation : The candidates applying for the posts must be below 40 years of age as on the closing date of submission of application i.e. 28-08-2013. Age relaxation to reserved community will be admissible as per Govt. norms.

Academic Qualifications : Candidates applying for the position must have (a) Post Graduate Degree in M.Sc. in concerned subject or P.G Degree with at least 50 % marks in the concerned subject, (b) B.Ed or equivalent degree, (c) Expertise in teaching English/Hindi medium.

Selection Procedure : Suitable candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written examination and personal interview.

Examination Fee Details : Applicants eligible for the post will have to pay non-refundable amount of  Rs.750/-  as application fee plus Rs. 30/- as bank charges. Payment of fee can be made through Debit/Credit Card or through  bank challan. Candidates will have to get challan from Indian Bank  A/C No. 935020934.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. There are 1090 school as Kendriya Vidyalayas in which 1087 are in India and three are abroad. Its main aim is to educate children of the Indian defence services personnel who are often posted to far flung areas.
