Know about University
Jiwaji University (JU) is an affiliated university was established on 23 May, 1964. It is located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was named after George Jivajirao Scindia of Gwalior. It was opened with 29 affiliated colleges and now about 300 colleges have been associated to it. The most precious faculty of the university is SOS in Neuroscience which holds Department of Biotechnology-sponsored neuroscience teaching courses at university level. The University has founded a centre of foreign language in 1986, which provides diploma and certificate courses in English, German, Russian & French. Every year at least 10 meritorious students get Rs.3000 p.m. DBT fellowship.
