Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC),Hyderabad has published notification for filling up SC/ST Backlog Vacancies to recruit the Medical Officers (Unani) in A.P.Unani Medical Services under Ayush Department. APPSC Recruitment-2013 Details :

Name of the post : Medical Officer (Unani)

No. of Posts : 48 (SC-29 ;ST-19)

Age Limitation : Candidates should be minimum 18 years and maximum 55 years as on 01-07-2013. Relaxation will be permissible as per Govt. norms. For further details regarding age notification can be referred.

Academic Qualification : Candidates must have Degree in Unani awarded by a University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act /State Act / Provincial Act or any institution recognized by UGC or any statutory Board of the State Govt. after having undergone a regular course of institutional study in the Unani both in theory and practical for a min. 4 yrs 6 mth duration in a teaching institution recognized by the University or State Govt. with one year compulsory internship.

Pay Scale : Rs.18,030-43,630/-  per month.

Application Fee Details : Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards application processing fee. Candidates applying for the post need not pay Application Fee.

Mode of Selection : Selection will be done on the basis of  performance in written test and  interview.
