Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme Recruitment 2014 @ indianarmy.nic.in Application Form Exam Result 2014-2015 NCC Position 07 July



Indian Army has released notification for the recruitment of young, dynamic & enthusiastic Unmarried /married male candidates & unmarried female candidates as well as wards of Battle casualties of Army personnel  through NCC Special Entry Scheme 35th Course-Apr 2014 Short Service Commission (NT) in the Indian Army. Applications are invited from eligible candidates to apply.

No. of Post : 54 (50 for men & 4 for women)

Age Limit: Age of the candidates  should be between 19 - 25 years. Candidates should be born between 02-Jan-1989 and 01-Jan-1995. Relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per Central Govt. rules.

Essential Qualification :
(A). For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Candidates must have Degree with min. 50% marks from recognized University or equivalent, should have served  min. two academic yrs in the  Senior Division/Wing of N.C.C &  have obtained min. ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

(B). For Ward of Battle Causalities of Army Personnel:Candidates must have Degree with min. 50% marks from recognized University or equivalent. NCC ‘C’ Certificate not required.

Selection Criteria: Physical Standards: (i) Height & Weight: The minimum acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight & that of women is 152 cms and 42 Kg. Candidates belonging to the North-East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height will be relaxed by 5 cms and weight commensurate with reduced height. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2cms. (ii) (ii)Visual Standards : The minimum acceptable visual acuity are: Distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse 6/18, Myopia of not more than minus 3.5 including Astigmation. Candidates who have undergone or have evidence for having undergone Radial Karatotomy to improve the visual acuity will be permanently rejected. Candidates who have undergone Lasik Surgery for Correction of reflective error are NOT acceptable.

How to Apply: Willing candidate can send their applications in the prescribed format given in the advt. to the nearest OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’ certificate has been issued. Those serving in the Armed Forces must send application in the Armed Forces duly counter-signed by Commanding Officer to the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC’ ‘C’ certificate has been issued.
