Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited(CPCL) is an Indian state-owned oil and gas corporation headquartered in Chennai, India. It was formed as a joint venture in 1965 between the Government of India (GOI), AMOCO and National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) having a share holding in the ratio 74%: 13%. The main products of the company are LPG, Motor Spirit, Superior Kerosene, Aviation Turbine Fuel, High Speed Diesel, Naphtha, Bitumen, Lube Base Stocks, Paraffin Wax, Fuel Oil, Hexane and Petrochemical feed stocks.

Age Limit : 

For Trade Apprentice post - Candidates should be below 23 yrs
For Technician Apprentice post - Candidates should be below 25 yrs . Relaxations will be as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification : Those who are applying for Trade Apprentice posts must be SSLC/10th/12th with ITI certificate& those who are applying for Technician Apprentice post must have Diploma in Engineering in relevant field.

Selection Criteria : Selection will be baseed on the marks gained in the concerned educational qualification.

How to Apply : Candidates must apply online at the website www.cpcl.co.in from 07-01-2013 and 23-01-2013.

2. Select the ‘People & Careers’ link.

3. Select the Click for Online Submission link of the desired post to be applied for.

4. All the details should be filled in the application form carefully and ‘Submit’ button will be clicked on.

5. Print out of Registration Slip  will be taken for future purpose.
