Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited(NLC) is a government-owned lignite mining and power generating company in India. It operates the largest open-pit lignite mines in India, presently mining 24 MT of lignite and has an installed capacity of 2,740 MW of electricity. It also supplies a large quantity of sweet water to Chennai from the artisan aquifers in the lignite mines.

Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (NLC) inviting eligible candidates for the posts of General Manager (Mining) (E-8), Hindi Officer (E-4) and Various Other posts.

Essential Qualification : Interested candidates who are applying for the post of General Manager (Mining) (E-8) should have Engineering Degree(BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc- 4 years or AMIE in Mining and have first class Mine Manager certificate of Competency under coal mines Regulations, 1957 with desirable experience. For the post of Hindi Officer (E-4) Candidates should have any Degree with English as a subject and Post Graduate Degree in Hindi from recognized University with experience.

Age Limit : The candidates should not be more than 54 years of age for General Manager and  36 years of age  for Hindi Officers as on 01-04-2013.Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years & OBC is 3 years.

Fee Structure :  Demand Draft for Rs.300/- drawn in favour of “Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, Neyveli – 1” payable at Neyveli. There is no fee from SC/ST candidates.
