Gujarat Public Service Commission was established on 01.05.1960.It works under article 320 of the Constitution of India. It conducts exams for appointment to the services of the State. It also advises on the matters relating to methods of recruitment to various Civil Services of the State.

Essential Qualification: Candidates having degree in agriculture will be considered.
Age Limit: Candidates’ maximum age should be 31 years. Relaxation in age will be applied as per the govt. rules.
Fee Structure: Candidates will pay Rs.100/- + Rs.27/- as postal charge. Candidates of reserved category are exempted from application fee except Rs.15/- as postal charges. Reserved category will have to pay only Rs.15/- as postal charges.
Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in preliminary test and personal interview.
