The Central Government has been empowered by Entry 82 of the Union List of Schedule VII of the Constitution of India to levy tax on all income other than agricultural income. The government of India imposes an income tax on taxable income of all persons including individuals, Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs), companies, firms, association of persons, body of individuals, local authority and any other artificial judicial person. It is the biggest revenue mobilizer for the Government.

The Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Pune has invited  applications for 15 Group ‘C’ Notice Server posts purely on temporary basis but likely to be made permanent.

Essential Qualification :Candidates should have Matriculation or equivalent.

Age Limit : Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Relaxation in upper age limit will be given as per Govt. rules.
