Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) under the Department of Space, Government of India, is engaged in the activity of Space Science and Space Technology for the development of society and for serving the nation by achieving self-reliance by indigenously developing capability to design and develop Space Transportation Systems and Satellites.(ISRO) has successfully operationalised two major satellite systems namely Indian National Satellites (INSAT) for communication services and Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites for management of natural resources.

Educational Qualification : BE/B.Tech or equivalent in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks. Candidates who are hopeful to complete the BE/B.Tech course in the academic year 2012-13 are also eligible to apply provided the final Degree is awarded latest by 31.8.2013.

Age limit : Below 35 years as on 04-03-2013.Upper age limit for reserved category candidates are relaxable as per Govt. rules.

Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs.5400/-

Application Fee : Candidates need to deposit application fee of Rs.100/- for each application. After registration of the application on-line, the candidates have to down loadthe payment challan in triplicate and pay the fee at State bank of India on any day between 12-02-2013 and 05-03-2013. Upon remittance of the application fee, one copy of the challan form will be retained by the State Bank (Bank copy) and remaining two challan parts, candidate has to send one part of the cahllan form (ISRO copy) to ISRO Headquarters along with application and remaining one copy of challan form shall be retained by the candidate for future use. Women/SC/ST/Ex-S/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and interview.

How to Apply: Candidates fulfilling the desired eligibility criteria may apply online through the website www.isro.gov.in between 12-02-2013 and 04-03-2013. After registration of application on-line, the candidates have to take the print out of application and send it along with Challan (ISRO copy), certificate indicating against each category to Sr. Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore-560094 by post super scribing on the envelope “ICRB-Recruitment of Scientist / Engineer ‘SC’“ with in 7 days of filling of the application on or before 11-03-2013. The remaining copy of registration conformation form (applicant copy) shall be retained by the candidate for future references.
