Uttar Pradesh Police (UPP) is the police force of the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is the largest police force in the world working under a single command. It was established in 1861 when the Indian Police Act came to be operational. Its headquarters is situated in Allahabad .

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board – UPPRPB has invited applications for 2849 Computer Operator, Programmer Posts.

Essential Qualification : Candidates must be Inter with Physics, Mathematics along with DOEACC for post no. 1 post & for post no.2 Degree along with DOEACC and PG in Computer Science/ PGDCA .
Age Limit : Candidates must be between 18-28 yrs for post no. 1 & 21-30 years for post no.2 as on 01.07.2013. Relaxations will be given as per Govt. rules.
Fee Structure : Candidates will have to pay Rs.200/- as application fee in the form of challan in SBI/ Punjab National Bank.
Selection Criteria : Selection will be based on the written test & interview.
How to Apply: Candidates should apply online through http://uppbpb.gov.in & http://prpb.up.nic.in from 13.05.2013 to 12.06.2013. There is no need to submit any mark lists, certificates along with online application or by post.
