The Indian Railway Protection Force (RPF) is an Indian Central Armed Police Force devoted with protecting the Indian Railways. The strength of RPF is about 65,000. The duties of RPF is to do all conducive means for the free movement of the railways. It also performs the duty of protecting and safeguarding of railway properties, passengers, their belongings and areas.
Railway Protection Force (RPF) invites candidates for filling up of 19 Constable posts in the Railway protection Force (RPF).

Academic Qualification: Candidate must have completed the matriculation or equivalent examination from recognized Board along with 2 years experience in playing any Musical Instrument.
Age limit: Candidates should be between 18 years-27 years as on 30-01-2013. Relaxation will be given as per Govt. rules.
Fee Structure : Candidates will pay Rs.50/- in the form of IPO drawn in favour of Financial Advisor cum Chief Accounts Officer, East Central Railway, Hajipur.
Application Procedure :Candidates should apply in prescribed format as shown in the notification. Then the candidates will fill the all the details in the applications, affix photograph, attach copies regarding age, caste, educational and experience certificates along with 2 self addressed envelopes with Rs.50/- stamps, by super scribing the name of the post and send to the Chief Security Commissioner/ RPF, East Central Railway, Hajipurwithin 30 days from the date of the publication.
