Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited ( BSNL) is an Indian state-owned telecommunications company headquartered in New Delhi, India. It is the largest provider of fixed telephony and fourth largest mobile telephony provider in India, and is also a provider of broadband services. It is India's oldest and largest communication service provider (CSP). It had a customer base of 95 million as of June 2011. It has footprints throughout India except for the metropolitan cities of Mumbai and New Delhi, which are managed by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL).

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 yrs-27 yrs as on 13-05-2013. Relaxation will be as per Govt. rules.

EssentialQualification: Candidate must have 3 years Engineering Diploma in any of the discipline in Telecom/ Electrical/ Electronics and Communications/ IT/ Computer/ Radio/ Instrument/ M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized University/ Institution.

Note: Qualification like B.E. and B.Tech,. in the respective stream can also apply.

Fee Structure : Candidates have to pay the fee in the form of Bank Draft/ Pay Order for Rs. 500/- in favour of “The Accounts Officer (Cash) O/o GM, BSNL of respective SSA or Original Cash receipt of Rs.500/ – paid at the departmental cash counter of respective SSA Head quarters. There is no Fee for SC/ PH candidates.

Selection Criteria: The selection  will be based on the competitive exam followed by a medical test.

How to Apply : Interested candidates may apply through prescribed application format.Affix passport size photograph on it, along with self attested copies of all the necessary documents, recent photograph and Demand Draft towards Application Fee must be sent in a sealed cover super scribed with  “Application for Direct Recruitment to the cadre of Telecom Technical Assistants” along with two self addressed envelope and send to the concerned SSA .
