Sashastra Seema Bal( SSB) is one of India's Central Armed Police Forces. It is generally referred  as a paramilitary force. It is currently under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India.

Application are invited from Sashastra Seema Bal, a Central Armed Police Force under Ministry of Home Affairs for filling up of 766 ASI, Head Constable & Constable posts.

Note :  SC/ST will get 5 years & OBC will get 3 years relaxation in age.

Fee Structure : General and OBC Category Candidates will pay 50/- (non refundable) as application fee in the form of Bank Draft in favour of “Accounts Officer, SSB, FTR HQ, Lucknow,” payable at SBI Branch, Lucknow (UP)”. There is no fee will be for SC/ST and Ex-servicemen candidates.

Mode of Selection : Selection will be done on Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Tests (PST), Written Exam and Medical Examination.

Application Procedure : Desired candidates should send their completely filled Applications  in the prescribed format as shown in the notification. The application should be typed in a plain paper with affixed passport size photographs, application fee, attested copies of all the documents regarding age, caste, educational & technical experience, DD, PWD Certificates, Two self addressed envelopes of 4”x9” size with 25/- postage stamps by  subscribing  “Application for the Post applied for  must be reached to the Inspector General, Frontier Hq, SSB Lucknow, Sankalp Bhawan, Vibhuti Khand, Plot No. TC/35-v-2, Gomati Nagar, Lucknow (UP) PIN: 226010.
