The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency  responsible for the development of technology used  by the military, headquartered in New Delhi, India. It was founded  in 1958.It is fully engaged in developing defence technologies covering various fields, like aeronautics, armaments, electronic and computer sciences, human resource development, life sciences, materials, missiles, combat vehicles development and  naval research and development. The organization includes more than 5,000 scientists and about 25,000 other scientific, technical and supporting personnel.

DRDO SEPTAM-06 Recruitment Details :

Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is inviting candidates for the recruitment of 844 Senior Technical Assistant ‘B’ (STA’B’), Technician ‘A’ (Tech’A’), Assistant (Hindi), Admin & Allied Category Posts.

Essential Qualification : Candidates must be  B.Sc/ B.V.Sc/ Three years Diploma in relevant field for STA-B Posts, SSC and Certificate of ITI in  relevant trade for Tech-A posts, X/ XII/  Masters Degree in relevant field with essential experience in relevant field as per the post for Admin & Allied Posts. For further details consider  the notification.

Age Limit : Candidates should be between 18 yrs - 28 yrs for post 1, 2 and 18-30 yrs for Asst Hindi Post, 18 to 27 years for remaining posts as on 27-05-2013. Relaxation will be given as per Govt rules.

Selection Procedure :  Selection will be done by Written Test, Trade Test and Interview.

How to Apply : Desired Candidates should apply through online at www.drdo.gov.in. They  also have to register themselves on mobile no 56677 of CEPTAM by sending a SMS in this format CEPTAM <space> First choice of Exam City Code <space> Post Code <space> Date of Birth as dd mm yy <space> Name (Leaving a space between first, middle and last name) . After delivery of SMS, an auto-generated response message with “Registration No” based on exam city code, post code and sequence no (based on post code) will be received. This registration no. will be mentioned in the application form.

Important Instruction : 

1. Candidates  who are applying for the posts of STA ‘B’ have to to apply Online and print out  printout will be sent to Director, CEPTAM along with necessary enclosures.

2. Candidates  who are applying for the posts 2 & 3 may have the option either to apply Online or Offline by applying through prescribed application format and send the completely filled application form along with all the necessary documents to DRDO Entry Test- 2013, Post Box No.: 8626, Delhi-110 054 by ordinary post only.
