The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. The first and foremost aim of the navy is to secure national maritime borders. India also uses its navy to maintain its international relations through joint exercises, port visits and humanitarian missions, including disaster relief.

Indian Navy wishes to invite applications from unmarried Indian Male candidates to join the Indian Navy as Permanent Commissioned Officer in 10+2 cadet (B.Tech) entry scheme for course starting from December 2013 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala.

Name of the Post: Permanent Commissioned Officer

Academic Qualification: Candidate should possess Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from university/ board with at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (Either in class X or class class XII).

Mode of Selection : The selection will be done on the basis of SSB Interview on their PCM marks. It will be conducted on two stages. Stage I comprises of Intelligence test, Picture Perception and Discussion test. Stage II comprises of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview. Final selection will be done on Medical Examination.
