Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL) invites applications from eligible candidates in the prescribed format through KPTCL WEBSITE www.aptransco.gov.infor filling up the Assistant Lineman vacancies for male candidates on regular basis.

Educational Qualification : SSLC/SSC/10thClass with I.T.I. qualification in Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic from a Institution/Board recognized by Government of Karnataka.
Desirable : (1) Should have knowledge of Kannada to read and write,(2) Should have normal eye sight, (3) Should have satisfactory physical fitness and shall qualify in the Endurance Test.
Age limit : Between 18 - 35 years as on date of notification. Relaxation in upper age limit is permissible upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Pay-Scale : 7,950 – 150 – 8,100 – 190 – 9,050 – 240 – 10,250 – 300 – 11,750 - 360 – 16,790
Selection Procedure : Candidates will have to undergo and qualify for the tests - running, skipping,shot put, climbing the tower, and cycling. Candidates who to pass these tests will be considered for further proceedings.
Application Fees :
1) Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Candidate and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
2) Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST Category
How to apply : Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may apply online through KPTCL website www.kptcl.com . After submitting the application ONLINE the candidates should obtain the printouts of acknowledgement and Bank Challan and the same should be produced at the time of ENDURANCE TEST.
