Banaras Hindu University( BHU) is a public central university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1916 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, it is one of the largest residential universities in Asia.It has nearly twenty thousand students including 2500 research scholars and 650 foreign students from 34 nations, under one roof who are pursuing different academic programmes at this campus as well as the newly established Rajiv Gandhi South Campus. 

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of JRF from Banaras Hindu University.

Project Entitled : "Transformation of N-methyltransferase Genes in N₂-fixing Cyanobacteria and their Biochemical Characterization with Special Emphasis on Stress Tolerance and Nitrogen Metabolism."

Salary Scale : Rs.12000/-p.m+20%HRA
