Tezpur University is an Indian Central University located in Tezpur in the state of Assam, India by an act in Parliament of India in 1994.The University is considered to be one of the outcomes of the Assam Accord. The objects of this Central University as envisaged in the statutes are that it shall strive to offer employment oriented and interdisciplinary courses to meet the regional as well as national aspirations and to develop the state of Assam and also offer courses and promote research in areas which are of special and direct relevance to the region and in the emerging areas in Science and Technology .

Title of the Project : Study on neutrino masses and mixing in context of recent neutrino oscillation data
Qualification : The candidates must be M.Sc. in Physics with specialization in High Energy Physics
No of the Post : 1
Emolument : Rs. 14,000/- per month for 2 years and Rs. 16,000/- per month for the third year.
Project Tenure : 3 years or till completion of the projec.
Age Limit : Candidate should not be more than 28 years at the time of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/ OBC/Women/Physically Challenged/Experienced candidates.
