The University of Delhi is a public central university located in Delhi, India. It is wholly funded by Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Vice-President of India, Mohammad Hamid Ansari is the chancellor. When the university was founded, only three colleges existed in Delhi at the time. Strong commitment to excellence in  teaching and research has  made the University of Delhi a role-model and path-setter for other universities in the country. Five departments namely chemistry, geology, zoology, sociology and history have been awarded the status of the Centre of Advanced Studies.

University of Delhi invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a DST funded project “Phenomenological study of the flavor structure of leptons and quarks”.

Qualification: The candidates must be M.Sc in Physics with minimum 55% and NET (LS) qualified. Candidates having specialization in Physics will be given preference .  

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/-+HRA and other benefits admissible by DSTand or DU norms. Selected candidate may also join the Ph.D. course as per DU rules.
