Pondicherry University is a central university in Puducherry, India. It was established  in 1985 by the Government of India. It is a collegiate university with a jurisdiction spread over the Union Territories of Puducherry, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It has 35000 students in its 87 affiliated college  including 27,000 students in the distance education mode.  It has started innovations like the Choice-based Credit System and on-line admission for postgraduate studies.
Applications are invited for the post of Project Fellow from Pondicherry University

Project Title :Dalit Literature in Bangla;A Historical Study,and Literary Analysis of Select Texts.

Qualification :  The candidates having a Post Graduate Degree in English with minimum 55% of Marks (Preferably UGC-NET) will be considered.Knowledge of Bengali and Experience of Translation into English and basic knowledge of Computer Application will be preferred.

Salary Scale : Rs. 14,000/-p.m (consolidated)

Age : 40 yrs as on 1.05.2013

Duration :One year till 1.07.2014
