Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi under the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India established the Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA) on 1-4-1987.The CIBA serves as the nodal agency for the development of brackishwater aquaculture in the country. The Headquarters of the Institute is located at Chennai with an Experimental Field Station at Muttukadu, about 30 km south of Chennai. The Institute has one Research Centre at Kakdwip in West Bengal.

Educational Qualification : B.A/B.Sc./M.Sc. And EITHER Degree in Life Sciences/Home Science/Women Studies/Sociology OR Degree in Computer Science.
Remuneration : Rs.10000/- per month consolidated.
Age limit : Below 35 years for men & 40 years for women as on date of advertisement.Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules.
