The Institute Of Physics, Bhubaneswar is an autonomous research institution funded jointly by the Department Of Atomic Energy (DAE) and the Government of Orissa.  The management of affairs of the Institute is vested in a Governing Council consisting of an eminent Scientist nominated as its Chairman, the Director of the Institute and members nominated by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and the Government of Orissa.  The Institute receives major part of its financial support  from the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and a token support from the Government of Orissa.

The Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar proposes to engage the services of a Civil Engineer for a fixed period of 6 months purely on contract basis to look after the civil maintenance activities in the Institute and residential Quarters located in the campus.

Name of the Post : Civil Engineer

Educational Qualification : Candidates who have passed 12^th  standard or equivalent plus 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a reputed organization approved by the State Council of technical Education & Training/AICTE or equivalent with knowledge in computer applications like AutoCAD & MS Office etc. can apply. Knowledge in electrical field will be given preference.

Experience: The candidate must have minimum of 3 years experience in civil maintenance activities in a reputed organization including preparation of estimates and work schedules and supervision of such  activities.

Maximum Age limit : 35 years as on 1.1.2013, relaxable in deserving cases.

Emoluments :  Rs 25,000/- p.m.
