The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) is one of the premier research institutions established for  livestock research and development of the region. The institute has a major mandate of research, teaching, consultancy and technology transfer activities.

IVRI will conduct walk-in interview for the post of  Junior Research fellow.The position is purely temporary on contractural basis and is co-terminus with the project.

Name of the Project : “Identification of potential vaccine candidate antigens of Clostridium chauvoei.”

Essential Qualification :  Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences with NET or equivalent qualification. 

Desirable : Working knowledge in molecular biology, microbiology and biotechnology tools such as gene cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins, ELISA, handling of lab animals and analysis of data with computer skills.

Age limit : 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / PH and women candidates as per Govt. rules.

Salary :  Rs.12,000/- p.m for 2 years and Rs.14,000/- p.m for 3^rdyear  + HRA as admissible.
