University of Kerala,Thiruvananthapuram,invites applications from suitable candidates for the appointment of JRF and SRF in the disciplines of Aquatic Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Environmental Science and Optoelectronics under the PURSE programme. The Fellowships are for doing research in the University departments and areinitially for one year but may be extended till the completion of the PURSE programme.

1	Jr.Research fellow	M.Sc/M.Tech in the concerned subject or its equivalent with not less than 60% of marks. Those who are currently registered for Ph.D programme and which has relevance to the thrust areas of the PURSE programme will be preferred.
2	Sr.Research Fellow	M.Sc/M.Tech in the concerned subject or its equivalent with not less than 60% of marks. Those who have completed two years of Ph.D programme will be preferred.
