The National Institute Of Health &Family Welfare ( NIHFW),is an autonomous organization, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, acts as an ‘apex technical institute’ as well as a ‘think tank’ for the promotion of health and family welfare programmes in the country. The Institute addresses a wide range of issues on health and family welfare from a variety of perspectives through the departments of Communication, Community Health Administration, Education and Training, Epidemiology, Management Sciences, Medical Care and Hospital Administration etc.

National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) wishes to invite applications from eligible candidates for the post of Medical Officer.

Scale of pay : Rs.15600-39100+GP 5400 + NPA

Age limit : Below years as on  01.07.2013 ( Relaxable in suitable case upto 50 years)

   

Educational Qualification :

 1. A recognized medical qualification in the first or the second schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

     Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

 2. One years' house job in Paediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology/Medicine/Maternal & Child Health Care/Surgery.

Desirable : The candidates must have at least 3 years' experience in providing in the field of family planning including infertility/obstetrics & Gynaecology/ Surgery/ Paediatrics/ Maternal

and Child Health Care or any other related field in a recognized Institution.
