IICB Project Fellow Recruitment 2014 Application Form, Admit Card Result 2014-15 APR-25



The Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) was established in 1935 as the first non official centre in to carry out basic biomedical research and was taken over by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in 1956. CSIR-IICB today is engaged in research on diseases of national importance and certain biological problems of global interest. IICB is one of the major institutes in India which initiated, right from its inception, multidisciplinary concerted efforts for conducting basic research on infectious diseases, specifically leishmaniasis and cholera.

IICB will conduct walk-in interview for the post of  Project fellow.

Qualification :
M.Sc in any branch of Chemistry(Organic Chemistry preferable) with at least 55% marks.

Desirable : Experience in synthesize small library of heterocycles and peptides will be an added advantage.
 
Age limit : 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / PH and women candidates as per rules.

Salary :  Rs.16,000/- p.m+ HRA as admissible.

How to apply : The candidates fulfilling the above criteria may appear for the walk-in-interview with complete CV, attested copies of following documents and original certificates for verification.

(1) Matriculation Certificate in support of date of birth,
(2) Degree/Diploma Certificate,
(3) Original reprints of all testimonials regarding educational qualifications,
(4) No objection certificate from the employer if employed,
(5) Final Mark-sheet of M.Sc. Examination,
(6) Documentary evidence of qualifying NET examination,
(7)One recent passport size photograph.
