The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) Deemed University (DU) is a premier

educational institution contributing in the sphere of Human Resources Development for the Defence Forces by way of imparting education research and training on Defence Technology to the officers of Armed forces, Scientists of the DRDO, Technical officers of the Ordnance Factory Board, Directorate of Quality Assurance.DIAT (DU) is an ISO 9001:2000 certified Institute.

DIAT (DU) invites applications from the eligible Indian citizen for the following Non-Teaching posts to be filled by direct recruitment/deputation. The details are as follows:-

1	Registrar	Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven-point scale. At-least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor (Sr. Scale) / Assistant Professor with 8 years in Associate Professor’s grade along with experience in Higher Education Administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education OR 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.	Ph. D./M.Phil/Degree in Law obtained after graduation / MBA in HR or Systems / MCM, MCS, MCA / M.ED/ MPM or equivalent (Awarded by University recognized by UGC or AICTE)
2	Scientific Officer	Bachelor degree in science with at least first class or its equivalent grade OR Three years full time diploma in required discipline with at least first class or its equivalent grade duly recognized by board of technical examination; and Proficiency and knowledge of computer applications and operations; and Minimum of 5 years experience at the grade /scale equivalent of pay the beginning of which is not less than Rs. 4600/- in the field of stores & Purchase or Materials Management.	Post Graduate degree in science/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/MBA in Materials Management.
3	Superintendent	Bachelor degree with at least second division or its equivalent grade 4 Years experience of administration /Accounts / Secretarial work. Preferably, in a Junior Supervisory post in Government Department / University / Education or Research Institution.	Postgraduate degree in Social Science or Commerce / M.Phil / Degree in Law obtained after graduation / MBA in HR or Finance or Systems / MCM, MCS, MCA / MPM or equivalent (Awarded by University recognized by UGC or AICTE) or SAS.
4	Assistant	Bachelor Degree with at least second division or its equivalent grade, accurate speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry in the computer. Proficiency and knowledge of computer applications and operations	Degree in Law / Post graduation Social Science or Commerce / P.G. Diploma in Business Management, Tax Law / Labour Laws (Awarded by University recognized by UGC) / P.G.D.C.A. recognized by Board of Technical Exam or equivalent.

Application fees : A Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- for General/OBC candidates (no application fee for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates/PH Candidates/Women Candidates) is payable separately for each post in favour of "Vice Chancellor, DIAT (DU), PUNE", payable at State Bank of India, Girinagar Branch (Code 02155), PUNE-411025, duly enclosed along with application form should be submitted to "Deputy Registrar (Admn), Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (Deemed University), Girinagar, Pune-411025 on or before 14.05.2013.
