The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh established as a center of excellence which would endeavour to develop patterns of teaching in postgraduate medical education and attempt to produce specialists in several disciplines of medicine. It was also envisaged that these specialists would spread out in the country in various medical colleges and medical institutions and impart medical education of highest standard to the students.

Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant for an ICMR funded research project

Under Department of Parasitology,PGIMER,Chandigarh.

Project Title : “Association of Cryptosporidium ---------in HIV/AIDS patients”

Project Duration : The tenure of the said post is co-terminus with the term of the project.

Educational Qualification : M.Sc. Microbiology/zoology/biotechnology/microbial biotechnology from a recognized University.

Desirable Experience : Two years experience of research work preferably in the field of infectious diseases

Remuneration :  Rs.22,120 p.m. consolidated.
