Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI), established in 1970,is one of the premier agricultural research institutes in the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The research programmes of the institute is organized under five divisions i.e,Crop Improvement, Crop Production, Crop Protection, Physiology, Biochemistry and Post Harvest Technology and Social Sciences.  The Institute also holds the International Coconut Gene Bank for South Asia at Kidu in Karnataka.

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow from Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI).

Project Title : “Agri­ Bioinformatics Promotion Programme Central Plantation Crops Research Institute”

Project Duration : Upto 31.12.2013.The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Educational Qualification : M .Sc./ M.Tech. in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology 

Age limit : 35 years for men and 40 Years  for women as on the date of interview.Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.

Pay scale:  Rs.16,000 p.m. + HRA.

How to apply : The candidates fulfilling the above criteria may walk-in for written test and interview to be held at CPCRI, Kasaragod on 23.04.2013 at 10:00 a.m with a copy of Resume, original certificates along with their attested photocopies. Those who qualify in written test will only be permitted to attend the interview.
