Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun (WII) was set up in 1982. It functions as an autonomous institution of the Ministry of Environment & Forests. It carries out wildlife research in areas of study like Biodiversity, Endangered Species, Wildlife Policy, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Forensics, Spatial Modeling, Eco development, and Climate Change. WII has a research facility which includes Forensics, Remote Sensing and GIS, Laboratory, Herbarium, and an Electronic Library.

Applications are invited from Wildlife Institute of India for the post of Technical Group IV

Educational Qualification :  Candidates having 1^st Class B.Sc. (Science) or equivalent will be considered.

Salary Scale : Rs. 5200-20200/- with grade Rs. 2800 + allowances

Age Limit : 28 Years

Fee Structure :  The applications should be in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-1) (neatly hand-written or typed out in A-4 size paper 210x297 mm) accompanied by crossed Indian Postal Order/Bank Draft of the value of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) drawn in favour of Director, Wildlife Institute of India, Payable at Dehradun.
