Sashastra Seema Bal’ is going to hold Recruitment Rally for male candidates belonging to East, West  and North District Border of  Sikkim state to fill up 48 vacancies in the rank of Constable (GD) in Sashastra Seema Bal and 30 vacancies for male candidates belonging to Mangam and North Sikkim Border Districts of Sikkim in ITBP.

Age limit : 18 - 23 years as on 01^st Jan, 2013. Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC/ST candidates.

Educational Qualification : Matriculation / Xth Class pass.

Pay Scale : PB–I Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade pay Rs. 2,000/- plus other admissible allowances

Physical Standards :

Eye Sight : The minimum vision should be 6/6 & 6/9 of both eyes without wearing of glass. The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

How to apply : Candidates should apply in the prescribed format. The recruitment will be rally based and the candidate will appear district wise and Tehsil wise for the recruitment at the place/venue of recruitment as per following schedule at 0700 hrs for their registration and documentation.

Written Test : The written test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. The

question paper will consist of 100 questions of 100 marks to be attempted in 2 hours.

Medical Examination : The candidates will be medically examined by the Recruitment Board of SSB to assess their physical and medical fitness as prescribed in the eligibility conditions.
