Educational Qualification:
For Technician posts : The candidates should be Matric with ITI Tradesmanship/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electronics Mechanic Trade /Fitter/Electrician/ Machinist/Diesel Mechanic/Mechanic / Turner Trade/ Wireman trade in relevant discipline according to job requirements.
For Operator (Fire) : The candidates should be 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 06 months Fireman’s Training course
For Assistant (S&P) : The candidates should have Bachelor Degree with minimum 55% marks and in English (in Computer) minimum 40 w.p.m typing speed is necessary.
Salary Scale: Rs. 12,500-33,000/-p.m
Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 30 years as on 01-04-2013. Relaxation will be given as per the rules.
Fee Structure : Candidates of General and OBC category have to pay Rs.50/- (non refundable fee) by Demand Draft/ Pay Order drawn in favour of GAIL (India) Limited payable at SBI, Main Branch, Rajahmundry, (Branch Code: 0904). There is no fee forSC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
Selection Procedure :
For Technician post: Skill Test.
For Operator (Fire) post: Trade Test and/ or Physical Endurance Test.
For the post of Assistant: Computer Typing Test & Computer Proficiency Test (S&P)) and interview.
