The Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) is a Central Armed Police Force. It provides security cover to 300 industrial units and other establishments located all over India. Industrial sectors like atomic power plants, space installations, defence production units such as the Indian Ordnance Factories, DRDO, mints, oil fields and refineries, major ports, heavy engineering, steel plants, barrages, fertilizer units, airports and hydroelectric/thermal power plants, and currency note presses producing Indian currency are protected by CISF. CISF also provides consultancy services to private industries as well as other organization in the Indian government.
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has invited applications from male candidates for the recruitment of 1654 Constable/ Driver posts in Central Industrial Security Force.

1.Constable/Driver –Direct (Backlog vacancies): 339
2.Constable/Driver – Ex-Servicemen (Backlog vacancies): 210
3. Constable/Driver – Direct (Current vacancies): 994
4. Constable/Driver – Ex-Servicemen (Current vacancies): 111
Essential Qualification: Candidates must be Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board with a valid driving license for Heavy/ Light Motor Vehicle and Motor cycle with gear.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 yrs- 27 yrs.(as on 09.04.2013). Relaxations as per Govt. rules.
Fee Structure : General and OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 50/- in form of crossed Indian Postal Order in favour of Officers mentioned in table in the notification. There is no fee for SC/ ST/EXCM.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Eligibility Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test, Written Test, Medical Examination and Final Selection.
How to Apply : Candidates will have to download the Application form from the notification,fill all the necessary details, attach photograph and attest signature and send it along with payment receipt and attested copies of all relevant documents, two self addressed envelope duly affixing postal stamps of Rs.22/- each should be sent to the concerned DIG of CISF.
