Air-India is India's finest flying Ambassador. Air-India Limited operates passenger and cargo flights from Bombay to destinations in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the United Kingdom, Russia, China, Japan, and other countries. It holds the distinction of being the world's first all-jet airline.It began operating in 1932 as Tata Airlines, named after J. R. D. Tata, its founder. The line carried mail and passengers between the Indian cities of Ahmadabad, Bombay, Bellary, and Madras, and Karachi, Pakistan. Within a few years Tata Airlines' routes included the Indian cities of Trivandrum, Delhi, Colombo (in Sri Lanka), Lahore, and other locations in between.
 

 Air India Limited  wishes to invite application for Trainees in Commercial Department of Air India Limited at Chennai Airport. 

Name of the Post- Trainees

Qualification as on 10.4.2013: (a)Graduates in any discipline and

                                                 (b) IATA/UFTAA Diploma Airlines Ticketing Course conducted by Reputed Institutions (or) previous Airport/Airlines experience as employee/trainee.

Stipend: Rs.6,000/- per month for the first six months and Rs.8,000/- per month from the seventh month to the twelfth month. However, for the period from 7thmonth to 12 months the initial stipend amount paid will be Rs.7,000/-,and on successful completion of 12 months training, the balance of Rs.1,000/- per month accrued (totaling Rs.6000/-) will be paid.

Completion certificate would be issued to candidates who attend the training for the full period of one year.

Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature of the applicant.

Important Note:
1. Candidate should reach with their bio-data, passport size photographs, and  all original certificates with one photocopy in respect of their age, qualifications (from 10thStandard onwards),Degree/Diploma, experience, etc.

2.The duration of training will be for upto a period of one year from the date of commencement of training.
