Indian Air Force Invites applications from Unmarried male candidates for Selection Test in to join as Airmen in Group ‘X’ (Technical Trades)
Educational Qualification : (a) Passed Intermediate/10+2 or Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR (b) Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma.
Age limit : Born between 01.09.1993 to 30.12.1996 (both days inclusive)
Pay Scale : Rs.21414/- per month.
Selection Procedure : (A)Eligible candidates will be sent Admit Cards to appear for the test during the month of July 2013. Duration of Written Test will be 60 minutes.(B) All candidates who pass the written test are to undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) on the same or the next day. PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 8 minutes. (C) Candidates who have passed the written test and PFT will be interviewed.
How to apply : Candidates should apply in A4 size paper along with three copies of unattested recent passport size COLOUR PHOTOGRAPH, one of which is to be pasted on the application form and the other two are to be stapled to the top left corner of the application form.
Attested photo copy of Matriculation Passing Certificate in support of Date of Birth. Attested photo copy of Mark Sheet & Passing Certificates of Educational Qualification i.e. Intermediate or 10+2 or Mark Sheet of all semesters and Diploma Certificate for Diploma holders (in single copy)
