The Indian Institute of Technology,Kanpur is a public engineering institution located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and declared to be Institute of National Importance by Government of India under IT Act.
Eligible candidate are invited for the post of Project Assistant to work in a sponsored project titled "Understanding plant Nematode interaction using RNAi”.
Qualification and Experience:The candidates must have Bachelor's Degree (B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BCA)
Desirable: Candidates having 2-3 years of work experience in handling the nematode C. elegans and office management will be preferred.
Important note: Job responsibilities for this position is not that of JRF or equivalent; the job responsibility is to provide secretarial and technical assistance to the scientific personnel of the laboratory.
Salary scale: Rs.9000-18000
Duration of appointment: One year. This position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.
