Qualification :  a) Masters Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks  b) M.Ed. Special Education (Mentally Retardation) with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale. (OR)  An equivalent degree from a foreign University recognized by RCI. 

Desirable : a)  Ph.D/M.Phil in Education with research emphasis on Special Education/NET/SLET in Education. b)  Experience for a period of atleast 3 years as teacher or researcher in the area of specific disability. (OR) Three years of teaching experience at Diploma level.

Application  Fee : Candidates may apply to The Registrar of the University (by designation only) for application form along with a State Bank Demand Draft for Rs.550/- (Rupees five hundred and fifty only) towards the fee drawn in favour of the Registrar, Mother Teresa Women’s University, payable at Kodaikanal.For SC/SCA/ST candidates,the application form will be issued at Rs.350/-(Rupees three hundred and fifty only)  after producing attested photo  copy of the Permanent Community Certificate.
