Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) was established at Ludhiana by an act of the Punjab Legislature No. 16 of 2005 notified in the Punjab Government Gazette on August 9, 2005 and it started functioning w.e.f. April 21, 2006 for promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the disease(s) through integrated teaching, research and extension programme (s).

Educational Qualification
1.B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree or B.Sc degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences/Biological Sciences with at least 2nd division.
2. Master Degree in any branch of Veterinary Science or any other relevant branch of Life Science/Biological Science with an overall credit point average of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks and above.
3. Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level. The condition of knowledge in Punjabi is however relaxable if the candidate is found otherwise deserving.
How to apply : The candidates fulfilling the above criteria may attend the walk-in-interview with a copy of Resume, original certificates along with their attested photocopies and a passport size photograph on March 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at JNTBGRI Office, Palode, Thiruvananthapuram.
